About
Paste @MrBeast, a youtube.com/@name link or an old /user/ address, and the finder returns the 24-character channel ID that starts with UC. That ID is what dashboards, feed readers and most third-party YouTube tools ask for, and it stays put when the owner renames their handle. The lookup reads the public channel page as a signed-out visitor, so any channel that opens in a private window will resolve here.
How to use
Type one channel into the box and press Run. Under the channel name and avatar you get five rows: the channel ID, the @handle, the canonical /channel/ URL, the RSS feed address and the uploads playlist ID. Each row has its own copy button. An empty row means the public page did not expose that value.
Four input shapes it understands
A UC ID passes straight through, which helps when all you want is the RSS or playlist row. An @handle, or a bare word such as mkbhd, is read as a handle. Full links are parsed for /@name, /channel/UC..., /c/name and /user/name paths, with or without https, www or m. A video URL is not a channel URL, so click through to the channel from under the video and copy that address instead.
Store the ID, label it with the handle
An @handle is a name the owner can change from their settings whenever they like, which is how a saved list of handles slowly breaks. The UC string stays attached to the channel for its whole life. When you record channels in a spreadsheet, a CMS or an ad placement exclusion list, key them on the ID and keep the handle as a readable label beside it.
What the RSS and UU rows are for
Every channel publishes a feed at youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id= followed by its ID, and feed readers or automation scripts can poll it to catch new uploads. The uploads playlist ID is the channel ID with the leading UC swapped for UU. Append it to youtube.com/playlist?list= and the channel's public uploads open as one playlist you can hand to anything that expects a playlist ID.
When a lookup comes back empty
Answers are cached for roughly ten minutes, so a handle renamed a moment ago may briefly return the old result. One IP address can currently make 30 lookups a minute, after which the page asks you to wait. A channel not found message usually points to a typo in the handle, or to a channel that has been deleted or is temporarily unavailable.
FAQ
How do I find my YouTube channel ID?
Paste your channel link or @handle into the box above and copy the channel ID row. It works the same way for anyone else's channel, because only the public page is read.
What does a YouTube channel ID look like?
It begins with UC and runs to 24 characters of letters, digits, hyphens and underscores. It is the string that follows /channel/ in a channel URL.
Can I convert a channel ID back to an @handle?
Paste the UC ID and the @handle row shows the name that channel uses today, provided it has claimed one.
Do I need a YouTube Data API key to look up a channel ID?
No key and no Google sign-in. The server loads the public channel page and its About panel, the same content a logged-out browser receives.
